Baah Yarn’s most popular product is a La Jolla, a fingering weight yarn, made of 100% superwash merino wool. Each unique skein of Baah Yarn La Jolla is carefully hand painted in small batches in their Las Vegas studio. Please keep in mind that the colors shown on your screen may vary due to differences in computer screen calibration. As with all hand-dyed yarns, each skein takes on a slightly different appearance (even when dyed together!) No two will look identical, which makes each skein unique!
Blocking: Use a spray bottle filled with ice cold water and spray your garment, block and lay flat to dry.
Blocking Instructions: Wet finished garment with cold water, do not soak. Lay on a flat surface to dry. If possible lay the garment out in the sun or in front of a window for quicker dry time.
Washing instructions: For best care, hand-wash knit or crocheted items in cold water, avoid soaking. Lay flat to dry. It is advised to avoid using detergents. We love using V05 shampoo since it is hair! Keep in mind the analogy of mixing red wash with white. Same goes for a pair of brand new blue jeans for deeply saturated blue colors.
