Each easy Blythe square is knit with a

deceptively complicated 16-row pattern.

2 rows of each color are worked in stockinette stitch

(knit 1-row, purl 1-row) with a slip stitch (pass 1 stitch from the right needle to the left needle) pattern row interspersed between the solid color stockinette stitch rows. Easy knitting!

Each Blythe square is knit with

2 balls of Silk Garden or 2 balls of Kuryeon on size 8 needles. Each square measures approximately 15 3/4" x 15 3/4".

The blanket is made by attaching 12 squares in a 3 square x 4 square configuration.
